A visit at the ‘Once Upon A Farm’, Picton

I love Gypsy Vanner horses: their long manes blowing in the week, their friendly personalities, their immense strength. A few weeks ago my dear friend Poppy invited me to accompany her on a little trip to Picton where she keeps one of her two horses: Belle. What a fantastic time that was! I played around with so many of Belle’s equine companions and I could enjoy their different personalities, approach to the human presence, degrees of playfulness. I came home refreshed, uplifted and grateful for another great opportunity to spending some quality time in the company of such gracious  beings. A big thank you to Julia and Dan, the owners of the farm, who have shared their great animals with me and allowed me to get close and enjoy. Here are a few of the many photos I took that day, enjoy!
